Forest Park Trolley is Free to Ride on Sundays This Year....The Blue Trolley route operates every 15 minutes on weekdays and the weekend. The Green Forest Park Trolley route serves the eastern side of Forest Park, with stops at the Jewel Box and the Saint Louis Science Center and Planetarium.

Tickets sold on the trolley, at the Forest Park Visitor Center, at the Planetarium Ticket Station or at the MetroStore located downtown at 8th and Pine.

Trolley schedule can be found here. Children refers to those ages 5 to 12. Ages 4 and under are free. Senior and disabled fares valid ONLY with a valid Metro Reduced Fare Permit. Call (314) 231-2345 in MO or (618) 231-2345 in IL for more information and for more detailed schedule information.

You have your choice of two trolley routes to choose from, depending on your destination.

  • The Blue Forest Park Trolley route serves the western side of Forest Park, with stops at the World’s Fair Pavilion, Saint Louis Zoo, Saint Louis Art Museum and Emerson Grand Basin. The Blue Trolley route operates every 15 minutes on weekdays and the weekend.
  • The Green Forest Park Trolley route serves the eastern side of Forest Park, with stops at the Jewel Box and the Saint Louis Science Center and Planetarium. The Green Trolley route operates every 30 minutes on weekdays and every 15 minutes during the weekend.

The Forest Park Trolley is free to ride on Sundays throughout the 2018 season. On all other days, tickets are just $2 for adults; $1 for children (5-12), seniors and disabled passengers; and it’s free for children 4 and under. A ticket gives you all-day riding privileges on both the Blue and Green trolley routes. A valid Metro Reduced Fare Permit is required for the disabled and senior discount.

A convenient Park & Ride option you can take advantage of inside Forest Park is at the Visitor Center’s parking lot, where you can park your car and hop aboard the Forest Park Trolley for a quick and easy trip around the park. You can also combine MetroLink with the trolley by parking at any one of 21 free Park-Ride lots at MetroLink stations in Missouri and Illinois, riding MetroLink to the Forest Park-DeBaliviere Station, and hopping on the Blue or Green Forest Park Trolley route, depending on your destination.
